Update Process

To update your SRD application details, please follow these simple steps:

1. Enter Your Information:
   • Provide your 13-digit South African ID number.
   • Enter your 6-digit Application ID (AppID) issued by SASSA during application or reapplication.
2. Receive SMS with Secure Link:
   • You’ll receive an SMS with a secure link to the phone number you registered with.
3. Update Contact Details:
   • Follow the link received in the SMS to update your contact details.
4. Start Update:
   • Click the “Update Now” button below to begin the process.

Important Notes

• You can only update your contact details once within a 24-hour period.
• Ensure that the new phone number provided is not registered to someone else, as SASSA cannot pay grants through such numbers.
