Increases Across All Grants

Details of the Increase
The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant increased from R350 to R370, a rise of R20. Most other grants, including old age, war veterans, disability and care dependency grants, saw a R90 increase. This will be divided into R90 effective from April, and R10 effective October 2024. The Child Support Grant received a smaller increase of R20.
